Each year, The Hudson School’s Parents’ Association & Alumni Association work together to raise funds for the school’s scholarship and financial aid fund via one main event.
The Hudson School 2015 Skyline Soirée in Support of the Scholarship Fund will be held on Friday, March 13 at the Duncan Family Skyroom at St. Peter’s University in Jersey City. A gourmet buffet dinner will be provided, as well as an open bar with beer and wine.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
- Volunteer – If you’re interested in volunteering for planning, entertainment, auction team, set up/clean up, greeters, etc. please sign up on the sign up genius or email the Parents’ Association at PA@thehudsonschool.org
- Buy tickets/attend/bring your friends! Tickets are available to purchase online here, or simply download and print the pre-purchase form here and mail it in with your check. Pre-purchase tickets are half-price at $75 through February 15. You can extend an invitation to your friends to to use the early-bird purchase price, as well. All (21+) community members are welcome to attend.
- Donate to the auction or ask someone else for a donation – The bulk of the funds that we raise come from the auction. Last year, we raised around $30,000 for the scholarship fund from the auction/mystery boxes. Please take a moment to fill out the form here, or go online to the school’s blog to the form there and let us know if you can help out. We’re seeking unique experiences (In the past, parents have donated a behind-the-scenes tour of News4 NY, hands-on chocolate-making, behind-the-scenes tour of a museum, and other unique social and educational activites), gift cards to major retailers, stays in vacation homes, travel opportunities, popular technology (i.e. ipad, ipod tablets, etc.) and so forth. Items worth between $10 – $250 are welcome for the mystery bags! Please contact Jahna Balk in the office if you have questions.
- Sponsor the event or ask someone else to sponsor. Sponsorships range from an ad in the program for only $50 to a Summa Cum Laude sponsor for $2,000, which includes a 2-page spread in the program, as well as prominent recognition and tickets to the event.
