Each year, The Hudson School sends a few upper school students to the NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference. The students leave the conference feeling inspired, motivated, and excited. The Hudson Diversity Conference was created in response to this excitement. At Hudson, we want all of our students to be given the opportunity to participate in such a rewarding and important experience. The student leaders who attended the NAIS conference will share their knowledge and passion with the Hudson community. All upper school Hudson students will partake in a day long conference in mid-February dedicated to diversity and social justice. Students will participate in workshops dedicated to identity, privilege, race, music, and more! They will also attend a presentation and workshop put on by Pushed Learning and Media, a non-profit organization that strives to challenge our society into thinking more critically about the vitally important social and civil rights issues of our times.
