“Inspired by Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus, three unlikely strangers meet in an unusual and watery place to make connections, to draw conclusions, and to discover the value of what it means to be an actor. Jack Coggins, Florence Pape, and Adam Sentoni are the three actors who meet in this enigmatic and mysterious afterlife. The characters, simply named One, Two and Three, reflect on the past, look toward the future, and try to make sense of their present. BODY OF WORK is a moving and stirring tribute to the life and spirit of acting.

Could your taste in art jeopardize a friendship? Aristotle’s concept of “character in friendship” is pushed to the edge when three friends find themselves on the brink of destroying their 15 year friendship over an argument regarding an expensive modern painting. Winner of the 1998 Tony Award for Best Play, Winner of the 1996 Olivier Award for Best Comedy, Yasmina Reza’s play ART; “…has such profound and meaty ideas about the rules that dictate art and friendship (with) an acute ear for the idiocies, trivia and petty assaults that pepper the conversation between friends…The real pleasures come from Reza’s creation of three beautifully defined, original characters…” —The Mail (London). Yasmina Reza is a French playwright and novelist, based in Paris, whose works have all been multi-award-winning, critical and popular international successes, produced worldwide and translated into 35 languages.
