Fall 2014

“The only way to make sense of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.”  ~ Alan Watts

Dear Alumni,

Fall is a season of change — in the weather, in routines and in the life of a school community. Change and new beginnings are the themes of this issue of our alumni association newsletter.

At Homecoming on November 26th, we will hear from members of the class of 2014, our youngest alumni, who are experiencing their very first months of college just as, you will read in this issue, the class of 2010 is discovering the world or work and play beyond college. Church Square Park
Back at the school, we are happy to welcome several alumni who have returned to Hudson to share their talents with current students and our community of families and friends.  Finally, we invite all alumni and friends to gather on November 25th, share stories and celebrate the life of our beloved teacher, Andy Stapp, who sadly passed away in early September. For Mr. Stapp:  “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world.  Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”  ~ Margaret Mead

Please continue to stay in touch with the school.  We love to hear about our alumni.

Warmly,

Sara Herrera MS ’86 and
Randi Roberts ’05

Fall is truly a delicious season. It’s about the warm spices, the crisp produce, and the pretty colors. But to me, one of the most scrumptious and gorgeous elements of autumn is its bounty of apples. Keep it fresh and whip up a moist and spicy applesauce cake for the next holiday gathering or just because.
